On 31 May we celebrate the Day of the mathematician, day that seeks to recognize the people who are dedicated to the study of the discipline of mathematics. In this context, we emphasize the contribution of members of our Faculty.
From 17 to 21 November 2015, was carried out the XVII International event "The Teaching of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science" MATECOMPU 2015, in the city of Varadero, Cuba, occasion where the Lic. Lucia Hilal, at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Technologies, presented on virtual environments applied in class. A topic that was received with great interest and enthusiasm by the attendees to the meeting.
