A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics is a professional who should accomplish his activities in the context of managing the theoretical and formal tools, this would constitute his principal characteristic. 
Should be able to:

  • Address issues related to his profession with objectivity and proper ethics of a science that he teaches.
  • Realize theoretical studies and possess a way of thinking that would permit him to resolve problems through the manipulation of concepts and formal entities.
  • Adaptarse a los cambios científicos y tecnológicos que rápidamente se producen.
  • Become adapted to the scientific and technological changes that are rapidly taking place.
  • Integrate interdisciplinary teams and find pertinence within the proper topics of mathematics and other scientific disciplines.
  • Contribute to the scientific and human preparation of students, through the exercise of professorship.

A graduate in Mathematics is able to:

  • Investigate and study mathematics in the highest level and collaborate in the scientific and technological research.
  • Participate in the organization and administration of programs of development in the field of mathematics.
  • Serve as a scientific and technical adviser in this discipline.
  • Develop activities of support in the areas of computation and design as well as application of mathematical models in corporations and industries.
