Regulation for the Leadership of Schools
- Annex Resolution N 019/04
Pertaining to the Leadership of Schools:
- Elaborate with the advisory council of the school the curricula of a major or any other curricular modification submitting it for consideration to the Honorable Council of Directors in the College.
- Evaluate the curricular efficiency of the majors in accordance to the adopted model.
- Assist students in relation to the curriculum and in the process of their studies.
- Chair the meetings of the advisory council of the School.
- Propose to the Honorable Council of Directors the Agenda of Events of the School.
- Propose the appointment of members of the Advisory Council of the School, which will be formed by three professors, while incorporating a representative of Alumni and a representative of students.
- Evaluate and determine the requirements of the faculty on the accomplishment of their curricular activities in the teaching programs incorporated in the school.
- Design the required profile of a professor to exercise a specific academic position.
- Assign, To Whom It May Concern, the judgment about granting the equivalence of courses for majors under its responsibility and supervise the process.
- Intervene in the process of awarding university degrees.
- Propose the designation of representatives in Congresses and Meetings of interest to the school.
- Propose a list of topics with the objective of complementing the curricular obligations to obtain the university degree (final work, supervise professional practice, etc.), that are of interest for the university and the region.
- Intervene in accordance to the rules in force related to the acceptance of topics and appointment of jurors who will evaluate the curricular requirements before awarding a degree (Final work, supervise professional practice, etc.).
- Collaborate with the making of annual budget that affects the development of academic activities in the school, bringing it for discussion and consideration in the Honorable Council of Directors in the College.
- inform the Dean´s office, all the conduct, exercised by professors, while applying any disciplinary measure to whom it corresponds and consecutively adopt pertaining sanctions.
- Regulate the ways of communication within the school.
- Foster the communication with the other organizational units of the College.
- Promote contacts with professional entities, public institutions and other foreign and domestic organizations and encourage registration of academic staff in professional events.
- Present every year to the Dean´s office, a volume of annual events developed by the School.
- Exonerate the professional requirements of topics and suggest educations offers.
