PROMOTE THE SUPERIOR FORMATION OF PROFESSIONALS IN INFORMATION SCIENCES, SCIENCES OF COMPUTATION AND AREAS THAT ARE APPROPRIATE FOR INVESTIGATION AND INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIELD OF INFORMATIONAL EDUCATION.

OBJECTIVES OF MASTER’S DEGREE

•    Deepen the current state of knowledge and different perspectives of educational information technology. 
•    Develop professional competencies for the construction, use and evaluation of digital systems that utilize pedagogical knowledge in order to facilitate and improve the teaching of comprehension of persons.
•    Promote the development of lines of investigation in the field of information technology education, in order to improve the quality of processes of teaching-comprehension of people that are connected through Information Technology and Communications.

OBJECTIVES OF SPECIALIZATION

•    Deepen the state of actual knowledge in the different perspectives of educational information technology.
•    Develop professional competencies for the construction, use and evaluation of digital systems that make use of pedagogical knowledge in order to facilitate and improve the teaching and learning of persons.

PROFILE OF GRADUATE WITH A MASTER’S DEGREE

1. Generate, formulate, implement and evaluate projects of innovative applications in the area of educational information.
2. Develop activities of investigation in the area of education information.
3. Create, distribute, share and utilize new knowledge in the area of educational information.
4. Develop, use and evaluate digital systems that apply pedagogical knowledge for the discovery of resources.
5. Participate in working groups that are interdisciplinary for the development of projects in the field of educational information.
6. Participate in the formulation of policies and strategies for the incorporation of technologies of information in the field of education sciences.

PROFILE OF A GRADUATE in Post graduate SPECIALIZATION

1. Generate, formulate, implement and evaluate projects that have innovative applications in the area of educative information.
2. Develop, use and evaluate digital systems that apply pedagogical knowledge in order to discover resources.
3. Participate in groups of interdisciplinary work for the development of projects in the field of educational information

DURATION OF A MASTER’S DEGREE

The academic program encompasses twelve classes and the presentation and approval of a research thesis. The estimated duration of this major is 780 hours. The organization of classes is spread within three academic cuatri-mesters, equivalent to 18 (eighteen) months, with a cumulative hourly amount of 620 (six hundred and twenty) hours of presence in the classroom. Moreover, there are predicted 160 hours for the elaboration of thesis.

DURATION OF THE SPECIALISATION

The plan of study encompasses eight assignments and the presentation and approval of final work. The dictation of curricular obligations will be organized in two academic quatri-mestrals.  The estimated duration for the career is one year, with a total of 410 hours. It is expected a total of 100 hours for the realization of the final graduate research paper.

CARACTERISTICS OF ACADEMIC CAREERS

MODALITY: IN CLASSROOM

Classes are held during Friday and Saturday every two weeks. There will not be an incorporation of teaching classes.  The academic activity will be led in its entirety in the dependencies of Faculty of Sciences and Technologies, of the National University of Santiago del Estero (Headquarters) located on Belgrano Avenue.
