Licenciatura en Hidrología Subterránea

Bachelor’s Degree in Subterranean Hydrology (4 years)

PROFILE OF GRADUATED PROFESSIONALS:

A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Subterranean Hydrology has:

  • An integral and coherent knowledge in Hydrology in the Subterranean waters for an adequate theoretic foundation of his professional knowhow.
  • Appropriate preparation and potential to know and evaluate the subterranean hydrologic resources that are available, understand its principles and rational exploitation and preservation.
  • Solid formation and preparation in the methodology of research in areas of his/her specialty: in order to accomplish and interpret his field of applications and establish interdisciplinary groups.

A graduate of Subterranean Hydrology can:

  • Participate in integral groups of investigation that aim to contribute with the development of the natural resources, local and regional, in relation to the aspects of hydrogeology.
  • Accomplish studies related with the discovery, analysis, design, development management, implementation and exploitation of subterranean hydrologic resources.
  • Realize investigations referred to the technological development in the area of subterranean hydrologic resources.
  • Serve as a consultant in the elaboration and implementation of hydro geologic policies.
  • Elaborate methods and introduce variable norms that optimize the exploration, exploitation, conservation and sustainable maintenance of subterranean hydrologic resources.
  • Organize and administer units, services and laboratories that lead the utilization, improvement and creation of development technology of systems related to hydro geologic perspectives through the use of new technologies.
