A Professor in Informatics possesses:
Solid knowledge about, leading, administering, organizing, development and teaching of the educational processes.
Ability to analyze, develop and apply systems related with informational technologies in the educational area.
Specific knowledge about problems – psycho-social attitude of educating and above all theories of learning applied in the area of teaching of informatics.
Capacity to select and apply an advanced curricular model.
Solid knowledge in the management and teaching of utilitarian programs.
A basic knowledge (logic-mathematics and computational) for the adequate theoretical foundation of the know-how such as professors in the discipline of informatics.
Solid knowledge about theories that sustain information.
Deep knowledge about theories and technology of programming.
Practical – theoretical formation necessary to analyze and evaluate information systems.
Ability to select and apply informational resources in the process of teaching – learning.
A professor of information in able to:
integrate groups of labour in order to investigate on the different alternatives of applying in information and education.
Respond demands that are emerging in the teaching of informatics as a consequence of advancement of the same sector. Design and apply educational software on various disciplines.
Has a critical attitude in front of his proper tasks that address, permanently, educational investigations with a perspective to accomplish pedagogical research.
Has a flexible attitude and permanently updated in front of the advances of the information sciences discipline.
Demonstrates a creative attitude in the search of original responses in the field of application informatics to education
