There will be a new teacher training in programming

Teachers of the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Technologies, won the call made by the Foundation Sadosky, to train teachers of the medium level, in programming.

The call was made in the month of April, and had as objective to invite public universities that have computing careers, to submit expressions of interest to carry out three lines of work. One of them is to conduct visits to secondary schools, the other for teacher training and the last one for the development of teaching material. Our University, through the Department of Informatics of the FCEyT, was selected for the work of teacher training, proving the only in the NOA, for the second consecutive year.

In this sense, the training course "Programming and its Didactics-Method Program.ar", will start on 5 August, and will have five meetings. The inscriptions will be made via the web page of the Faculty, from 27 June to 29 July (entering the link: Http://tinyurl.com/jvcszad).

To be the only University that render this course, it is expected the presence of teachers from other cities and provinces, as was the case last year. It is worth mentioning that the same is free and quota limited, the participants must do so with their own computer. Is intended primarily for teachers of Computer Science, Mathematics and Technology, however it is open to the public. It is worth mentioning that the completion of the course, grant score.

Professor Ing. Margarita Alvarez, part of the team that made the winning project, said that we should consider, in the University, to train teachers, and the fact that we are the only university in the north that are going to be able to provide this service to the teachers of secondary level as last year, is really a prestige".
