The College of Exact Sciences and Technologies is training High School Professors

Last Friday October 9th, in the Auditorium 20 of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Technologies (FCEyT), was organized the First gathering of the “Introduction to Technical Drawing” Course, aimed to train High School Professors.  Eng. Hector Paz, Dean of the College, gave the welcoming remarks and motivational encouragement to all participants. 

This course is organized within the framework of the Project: “University Training and High Schools – Improvements of Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences; Component C-Pedagogical Support,” and the team of professors in charge of this course is composed by Eng. Tomas Daniel Allall with the collaboration of Eng. Jose Mariano Guzman.

This training course emerges from a program sponsored by the Secretariat of University Policies (SPU) that is under the responsibility of the National Ministry of Education, and explores ways to improve the quality of teaching of Exact Sciences, Natural Sciences and Technologies, in the secondary level.  Through a team work between the distinct institutions of the Educational System, in a way so that there are created necessary conditions so that students are incorporated successfully in the university level programs.

In this course are participating professors from the following High Schools: Técnica N°1, Técnica N°2, Técnica N°3 Ing. Santiago Maradona, Técnica N°6, Técnica N°9 of Sumampa, Agrotecnology School of Malbran (Escuela Agrotécnica de Malbrán) and E.F.A. of Forres (E.F.A. de Forres).

The procedure of the course has a duration of six meetings, that are theoretical and practical and take place on Friday from 7PM to 10 PM in the Auditorium 20 of our Faculty. It must be noted that that this course is free of charge.
