The College of Exact Sciences and Technologies (FCEyT) signed an agreement with the provincial Ombudsman

On Thursday August 13, at the offices of the Provincial Ombudsman, was organized the signing of a cooperation agreement and technical assistance, between the offices of this entity and the College of Exact Sciences and Technologies (FCEyT)

The signing ceremony was led by the regional ombudsman, Dr. Martin Diaz Achaval, and out dean, Ing. Héctor Rubén Paz. There were also present the Adjunct Ombudsman, Dr. Lionel Suarez, the Secretary of Extension programs, Cooperation and Transference of our College, Ing. María Teresita Pilán and Lic. Angel Storniolo, Director of the Academic Department of Geology and Geo-technology.

The agreement, was based upon the foundations of mutual respect with the objective that both institutions have in order to contribute in the strengthening and promotion of integration and development of institutions, the same as the need of empowering integration of certain sectors that are part of our community in search of consolidating common values such as solidarity, citizen engagement and social responsibility as a means to propel common good, it establishes ties of cooperation in sectors that are a competency to respective parties.

Through this memorandum of understanding parties will work in favor of the academic development, scientific research, productive and research, linked to the respective objectives and functions of both institutions. In this context, it is expected to organize human resources training; also services of engagement and transference; design of strategies and organization of campaigns of promotion about mechanisms of protection of rights and interests of citizenship connected with the objectives of this agreement. Each one of the parties will designate a coordinator.

At the same time, the agreement underlined the implementation, in the short and medium term, working inter-institutional groups; define a program of visits, internships and activities of training for the team members of both institutions while promoting, at the same time, the institutional cooperation in national and international forums, as well as the training programs that are related to the social policies.

In regards to the specific agreements “there will be decided the program of activities in the academic profile, professional and technical preparation of participants, in order to fulfill the objectives of the mentioned program; they will specify the execution, allocation of resources and assignment of the cooperation unit, responsibilities of each party and the outline of actions to be developed: there will be specified the periodic reporting of organized activities, in agreement with the ongoing requirements in each one of the institutions.” In the upcoming days there are planned inter-institutional meetings that will move forward the objectives of both institutions.
