University Technician in Subterranean Hydrology (three years)

 
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE OF THE GRADUATE 

A University Technician in Subterranean technology has:

  • A Basic knowledge of hydrology of subterranean waters for the adequate practical foundation in its implementation as a technical specification.
  • Appropriate preparation and capacity to collaborate in the evaluation, exploration and exploitation of hydrological subterranean resources that is available.
  • Solid practical training in the fields of his/her specially in order to analyze and interpret its field of applications in order to be able to be integrated in interdisciplinary groups.

A University technician in subterranean hydrology has the following professional incumbencies:

  • Collaborate in the administration and implement the execution of programs and plans of regional development and national development, about the inventory of natural resources.
  • Collaborate in the administration and implement the execution of programs of exploration and exploitation of the subterranean waters.
  • Realize works related with the installation of hydrological instruments.
  • Collaborate in the studies that pertain to identify favorable areas to capture subterranean currents.
  • Collaborate as an operator in the areas of geo-electrical and seismically prospective, in order to investigate about the existence of subterranean waters.
  • Collaborate in the elaboration of projects and intervene in the execution of perforations for the exploration and exploitation of subterranean waters.
  • Take into account measurements from which, sallination, P.H. and temperature of subterranean waters in works of making use of drainage.
  • Take into account the pertinent actions that make possible the evaluation of quantity and quality of hydro subterranean resources.
  • Collaborate in the realization of studies of the chemical parameters of the mineral and thermal waters.
  • Determine the depression and recovery of static levels and dynamic of aquifers with the exploitation of constant and variable creeks.
  • Cooperate in the realization of works that administer subterranean, hydrological resources.
